“Dead Cat Alley and Old China Town”
Brief history of Dead Cat Alley (including 617 Main Street) and Old China Town in slides by Dino Gay. A warm up for Jack Din’s presentation.

“Jack Din and family stories of Tai Lee Laundry”
95 year-old Jack Din shares personal accounts of the family home and business on Dead Cat Alley (1925 to 1947). Jack was born on the alley in 1929.

10:00am–5:00pm: Landmark Building Tours

11:00am–4:00pm: Open Homes

Home tours are a ticketed event.  Homes are open from 11am to 4pm and can be visited in any order during this  time.  Home tours are not guided, but rather will have docents in each home to provide information.  Please be sure to pick up your ticket booklet at Heritage Plaza (2nd and Main).  You must have this ticket to enter the homes.

3:00pm – 8:00pm: Methodist Church 212 Second St.

Dia de Los Muertos -a free community event from 3:00 to 8:00 featuring food trucks, local vendors, Low Rider Car Clubs, entertainment, kid zone.

5:00pm–9:00pm: Visit a local restaurant!

Soul Garden Holistic Healing 521 Main Street
From noon to 5:00 enjoy a “Hallowed Hall” free event. Shop fun and seasonal handmade wares from local artists. Enjoy herbal tea and a treat,check out crystals and get a custom dressed affirmation candle made to order by Norse Herb Company. At 5:00pm a downtown ghost tour led by psychic medium Tina Mariel will start at the shop. There is a $10.00 charge for this event, sign-ups start at 4:00pm.

ALL DAY: Visit a local brewery or winery!
